November Show and Tell Cont'd

Janet shared with us a new project she completed for the Downy Quilts for Kids charity -www.quiltsforkids.org - what a cute quilt! Thanks for sharing this cause with us Janet.

Paula created a Quilts for Kids quilt as well - very cute!

And Paula has been busy making PJs as well!

GiGi shared with us this wonderful baby quilt she recently created! Love it!
Rick shared the quilt top he has been working on here - it's a block-of-the month program at Sew This in Abita Springs, LA.

Cindy shared with us some kitchen towel embroidery she is creating.

Joanie shared with us her cute little embroidered fleur-de-lis work-ID stringy thing -- I forget what you actually call one of those thingies.

Dawn is showing off some of her machine embroidered toweles she's created on her new 6-needle embroidery machine! Congrats on the new machine Dawn!

Mary Ellen shared with us an inexpensive technique to create a quilter's table for your sewing machine using stacked insulation boards from your local home improvement store. It's easy to cut and then you just tape it all together and when your finished just stack them and store them behind a door or the sofa.

Donelle has been creating some wonderful Bullion Stitching lately -- look at this wonderful creation she whipped up.

Jayne shared with us a wonderful solution for a rainbow of colored threads that are great for hand applique - it's easy to find a color using this color wheel of thead - you can find it at Super Threads.

Colleen shared with us some older projects she's created - look at that cute little basket.

Crumb Blocks Bath Mat

Here is Cindy demo-ing a wonderful crumb block technique with us using cirlces to create a wonderful block - when all is stitches, Cindy said this will become a bath mat.

A First Quilt and what strips can make

Paula's grand-daughter Stevy made her first quilt while visiting with Paula recently. Here she is showing off a wonderful new and colorful quilt. Way to go Stevy!

Christening anyone!

Cindly showed off her latest fabric purchase - New York Yankees fabric for an eventual pair of underwear! Umm OK.

Here are some great pillow cases she has been creating in her sewing room for cancer patients at Hope Lodge on River Road.

And some wonderful hand stitching going on there too!
