Fun Projects to Share

Jayne had some wonderful fun projects to share with the group including this wonderful and colorful flowery basket cover, a zippered make-up bag and a cute and adorable clothes-pin bag! Way to go Jayne - those are awesome!

A few travel totes

Rick made several travel totes for his upcoming cruise - some inspiration found on the internet helped him create a couple different designs. They should come in quite handy in all those cruise ports!

Reversible Girls Dress

Our newest Stitchin Sista Dawn shared this adorable reversible dress for a little girl along with the cute Disney embroidery! Way to go Dawn!

An Oval Quilt and Felted Purse

Gigi shared two wonderful projects- first her wonderful ovals quilt -- that is just gorgeous.

And this geat felted wool purse -- now who would not want that cute purse!

Heirloom Quilt Squares

As if the old-fashioned stamps were not enough, Diane continued her show and tell with a collection of wonderful and gorgeous heirloom quilt squares with wonderful techniques, pintucks, embroidery and incredible skill. Everyone was going ga-ga over these!!!

Old Fashioned Quilt Template Stamps

Diane shared these wonderful old stamps made by the Wand Company of New Orleans - they have various designs of a quilt piece/shape and you stamp it onto your fabric and then cut out the shape -- WOW these are super cool - Thanks for sharing those Diane.

We meet again!

At our recent August Stitchin Sistas meeting, we met at GiGi's home and we had a packed house but we missed Anna and Mary Ellen this time around. Donelle's Blocks of the Month showcased a couple creations by Joanie (house) and Cindy (hearts) and Donelle showed the next two month's blocks, bow ties and snowballs. We'll see the new progress at next month's meeting.
